I bought this whilst in a rush and actually thought it was more peach toned (peachy blushes are my current obsession) so was initially a little disappointed. I'm very pale, naturally and have quite rosy cheeks (euck) so it's not a colour I would have normally bought however it's actually a lot more flattering than I originally thought! It looks especially lovely when I'm wearing fake tan!
As for the little brush which is included, I hate it. I normally use my own brushes as I don't like using little ones but I gave it a go for the purpose of this review and it's horrible! The bristles are so scratchy and really irritated my skin! The mirror is a little pointless because it's so small however I'm sure it'll come in handy!
There is a lot of glitter to this blush, so it's not for everyone however this isn't too obvious on the face, it translates to more of a shimmer.
One thing I noticed about these blushes is that few (if any, I didn't see a single one) are matte, I'd love to see some pretty matte shades being brought out.
I have had this blush for a few months now.But sadly, the surface has gone very hard and cuz of that, my blush brush brush doesn't pick up much color. Is that the case with all baked shadows/blushes or just bourjois ones?
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'm not sure tbh. I've only experienced that with eye shadows :/ has it been exposed to any water? Because I find sometimes that can harden products, otherwise I'm not sure but I can try and find out for you, if you like? x
ReplyDeleteI just read reviews on makeup alley for Bourjois blushes. Some people have complained they harden over time.Don't know why though.I have never used a wet brush. Oh well....:)The colors are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link if you are interested in the reviews.
Have a great day!
